I have built on the strengths of the founder, Stefan Svensson, and then continue to develop the company with own professional strengths.
Back in the times when the wheel had just been invented and people just started fuzzing about something called the internet, I finished my university studies in Applied Science, Financial Mathematics and saw my career develop as an analyst at some financial institution in Stockholm or the world at large.
However, life often takes different directions and already at my first assignment after my university degree I was put in charge of administration department and everything that entails. Over the years, my positions have continued to include responsibility for finance as well as being a leader, manager, and executor. My work journey has given me excellent opportunities to meet suppliers, customers, and employees in so many incredible places around the world.
Then to succeed after Staffan Svensson, the founder, an authority in the home lighting industry and becoming CEO of Frinab and continuing his family business in a completely, for me, new industry could perhaps be perceived as an impossible task. However, it hasn't felt like that for a single minute. The Svensson family have been and are fantastic as owners. I knew from the start that I could not shoulder Staffan's knowledge and way of being, however, I have learned during my more than 30 years of management experience that there are many different ways to drive businesses forward.
I have used the positive foundation that Staffan has built over the years and continued to develop the company with my strengths.
And if you have an incredible great asset to help you out, everything is so much easier, the Frinab employees. The skills, drive, multitasking ability, and loyalty I wish every company.
It is now with joy and pride that I enter my 10th year as CEO of Frinab. The past years have been extraordinary, but I am convinced that the best is still ahead of us. My mission has been and still is to develop the company into a modern and attractive partner for customers, suppliers, and employees.
